When you have questions we will be there with an answer, fast. All email and support tickets are answered in 24 hours, most much sooner. Our helpdesk notifies all of our staff members of requests so the first available person will be able to help you out.

Blog Software
We install all blog and gallery software for free and are happy to do so. At your request we will install the content manager of your choice and keep it upgraded with the latest stable releases. Just let us know via a support ticket and we will do the rest

Server Software and Hardware
All of our boxes are at least 2.4ghz Intel servers with 1gb or more memory. All servers are running RedHat Enterprise Linux 3, MySQL 4.x, PHP 4.3.x and cPanel 9. Recently relocated to a premier Atlanta datacenter we utilize routes from five tier 1 bandwidth providers. This redundancy nearly eliminates uplink related outages. Our software upgrade policy is simple: We will upgrade any of our core software applications (Apache, MySQL, PHP, etc) as soon as our techs deem the latest releases stable.

Downtime? What downtime?
Since Bloghosts opened it’s doors, unscheduled outages have not been a problem for us. We take great pride in being up 100% of the time. This being said, our uptime guarantee is 99%. We think this 1% cushion is sufficient to provide the level of service our clients expect from us. All scheduled downtime including reboots, upgrades, and other maintenance will be documented in our blog.

Spam and Abuse
Bloghosts has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to spam and abuse. Customers spamming, running illegal software (game servers, irc daemons, etc), or abusing server resources will have their accounts terminated without the possibility of refund, appeal, or data recovery. We take the security of our customers and equipment very seriously. To report spam or abuse please contact us.
